At least 128 ECOWAS nationals are within the grips of the Ghana Immigration Service for unlawful entry and unlawful residency.
In accordance with a report by Citi Information, 31 out of the ECOWAS nationals had been arrested at East Legon Hills throughout a swoop on Friday daybreak after the Immigration Service picked up intelligence in regards to the presence of the unlawful residents.
The Ghanaian landlady was additionally arrested for allegedly accommodating them in her flat at East Legon Hills.
The Chief Superintendent of the Operations Division of the Ghana Immigration Service, David Asiedu-Addo informed the media that: “we obtained intel days in the past that there have been some undocumented migrants round East Legon hills.
