SweetBerry Ranch, the esteemed producers of Sorabi Palm Liquor, demonstrated their commitment to corporate social responsibility by making a generous donation to Dzolo Gbogame Primary School on May 18, 2023. The Chief Executive Officer, Kerl Sena Tsahey, the Director, Robert Tsahey, and several other employees of SweetBerry Ranch were in attendance to donate to the school.
The initiative began a few weeks ago when a tutor from Dzolo Gbogame Primary School approached SweetBerry Ranch’s CEO, highlighting the challenges faced by the school due to the lack of fresh air in their classrooms. In response to this appeal, the CEO personally visited the school, assessed the situation, and promptly decided to donate ceiling fans to improve the learning environment. Additionally, SweetBerry Ranch presented a cash prize of GHs1000 to support the school’s needs.
During his speech, the CEO expressed his delight at being able to assist the school, emphasizing his connection to the community as a native of the town and having taken his common entrance examination there. He assured the audience that this donation was just the beginning of a long-term relationship between the company and the school. Furthermore, he announced plans to collaborate with the teachers to establish a scholarship scheme to provide financial support to academically talented but economically disadvantaged students.
The headmaster of Dzolo Gbogame Primary School, Mr Klu Victor Kwasi, expressed immense gratitude for SweetBerry Ranch’s swift intervention. He highlighted the positive impact this gesture would have on the academic performance of the students and the overall quality of teaching in the school.
